Snapchat messages won't delete?

I have this friend on my snapchat and no matter how much I do the messages won't delete off our chat. I know for definate I don't have the messages saved either. Even if I delete the chat when I open it again the messages are still there. I've tried deleting and re-adding the person and even deleting my app by still they are there.

Any ideas or help please?

    Did you resolve this problem? I too have one friend who's snapchat messages I can still see from several months ago even. I've also deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried every method of clearing the conversation.

    tap all of them once, and they'll turn like unbolded and delete
