My ex started talking to me and I don't know what to do?

so about a week ago, my ex chatted me online. We apologized to each other (both of us didn't really do anything wrong, just didn't work out) and decided to be friends and start talking again. Since then we have been talking everyday. Three days ago, I told him that idk if we should be talking this much bc i think its easy to fall back to exes, but then we just decided to keep talking and see what happens. Two days ago, he complimented me and told me that he misses me. He said that when he started talking to me he wanted to just make things right, but as we are talking, he found that I am still cool and cute... lol. He said he wants to hug me and kiss me. We are planning on a hangout but we want to keep it lowkey so he suggested we do it outside of school. I still kinda like him too, but idk what I should do. Do you think he truly likes me again?
