why does every american say soccer is gay?

Ima American myself but I actually enjoy soccer more than American football , some others call it "gay" just cuz there less physical contact than American football. Soccer takes more skill but I guess some of us just like seeing sweaty dudes run into each other.

Its because footballers often dive and that soccer is not as high contact of a sport like Americans are used to such as ice hockey or american handegg that they call football

Football (soccer) is a sport. A sport can't be gay.

Mostly because lots of people fake injury (which may be serious injuries) and their isn't mush physical contact like say American football. I personally like soccer because it has more playing time.

Because Americans focus more on basketball, baseball, and American football

Because they are too stupid and ignorant to watch the worlds sport and would rather idolize the sh*tty NFL. 3 and a half hours of commercials LOL. It might also have to do with the fact that they suck at the sport.
