My ex and I started talking again.. what do I do?

My ex chatted me a week ago after 6 months of nothing. He apologized and so did I. now we are talking everyday for hours. A few days ago, he told me that he thinks he likes me again and I said I feel the same. Yesterday, however, i was talking to him, and he said he doesnt want to get in a serious relationship again. I feel the same way but it seems like he only wants to get sexual with me. He said he just wants to be able to do whatever without much thought.
