Will it work to plug a combo amp into a cabinet?
If I have a 15 watt amp can I plug it into a pretty big cabinet with maybe 4 speakers like 75 watts? Will this make it much louder? I'm really confused on how this works.. How does all this work

If you can physically plug the output of the amplifier into the the input of the speaker cabinet then it will work.
If the impedance of the cabinet doesn't match the impedance of the amplifier then the amplifier could be damaged.
15 watts is unlikely to be enough to drive a 75 watt 4x12 cabinet properly so you might get a poor sound.
You don't say what speakers are in the combo now but four 12" speakers will spread out the sound more and "move more air" so, standing in front of it, it might sound a little louder, especially if the speakers have a higher sensitivity (but see what I said above).
Obviously though, there will be no more power there, no higher an output because you are still using a 15 watt amp.
If you were using a "conservatively-rated" 15 watt valve-powered 1x12 or 1 x10 combo then what you suggest might be worth trying but if you have a tiny 15 watt solid state practice combo with a little 5" speaker there will almost certainly be no improvement and it might sound even worse.
