are my spacers supposed to hurt this bad?
I just got spacers 2 days ago, Wednesday and they still hurt extremely bad. When they got put in it didn't hurt that bad and the rest of the day was ok but then yesterday and today they hurt extremely bad, almost as if my teeth are getting pulled out. This is prob one of the worst pain I have had and that is saying somthing considering I have Chronic pain illnesses. I have been taking ibprofen and oral gel but I still can't eat anything, just melted ice cream which is obviously bad for me. Advice???

Ugh! Spacers are he worst! And I'm not going to lie, but it will hurt as long as you have them on. I suggest taking pain killers daily, and eating soft, cold foods to numb the gums. You can also buy a numming paste like orajel. Goodluck!😅

Mine hurt really bad. They bled but that happens if you have tightly packed teeth. If you get too uncomfortable with it consult to your orthodontist. I had the same experience. Don't chew on hard things, eat warm cooked soup and yes things like ice cream. The pain will go away. If you need to chew use your front teeth and make sure its not too hard.
