Well, he had a tough game. I'm sure he'd much rather have gotten off to a 4 for 4 with three jacks, but everybody goes through games where they just can't do anything right. Obviously the Cubs are looking for the long haul. So is Bryant.

Even Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth had bad games. It's unfair to judge a rookie on his first game, especially if it's a bad one. The Cubs still have hope for him.

No they don't.
They just announced they have released him and signed Mike Olt to a 5 year, $120 million extension.
Of course they still have hope. One bad game doesn't end a career.

They should. The dude has been killing it for the past year. He probably just got nervous.
