Help with violin hold and vibrato?

I can't seem to hold up my violin between my chin and shoulder with my shoulder rest. When I try to hold the position, I can feel my violin touching my collarbone and it feels extremely uncomfortable.

I think the reason I can't do vibrato is my hold on my violin since I depend solely on my left hand to hold my intrument.

What should I do to fix it?

If you are supporting the violin in your left hand, then you will not be able to do vibrato. If your violin is touching your collar bone, then either you have not adjusted your shoulder rest properly or else you are using a shoulder rest that is not right for you.

You could try a contoured sponge instead of a shoulder rest. It would be much softer against your collar bone. If you have a really long neck and just need to fill extra space, you can use a sponge or a folded cloth along with your shoulder rest. Or you might need a wider shoulder rest. Kun makes one, called Voce. All of those suggestions are really just guesses, though. Without seeing you, I don't even know what the real problem is. Then, there is a lot of trial and error involved in getting it right. Your best bet is to get some advice at a violin shop, hopefully where they can make some recommendations and let you try out a few options without actually having to buy a bunch of shoulder rests at random before you finally find something that works.

There are violinists who do not use shoulder rests, either because they don't find them comfortable or because they never learned with one. After all, it was not too long ago that no one used a shoulder rest. If you want to try playing without one, you will need to seek out a teacher who does not use one.

It might be a good idea to go to a good string dealer and ask for help finding a chin rest and shoulder rest combination that works for you. You would be able to try out various options and combinations to find what allows you to hold the violin comfortably without relying on your left hand.
