Ignorant question. If I connect my phone to my smart T.V. will it recognize it as a hot spot? Do not want to pay outrageous internet fees.?

Use a Metro PCS phone so the data is unlimited. Using cable or satellite internet has outrageous fees if you go over their data. I'm a movie buff so I usually go over their data limits.

    You may have unlimited to data, but you do NOT have unlimited HotSpot data use on Metro PCS.

    For unlimited data plan, hotspot data is LIMITED TO 2.5GB per billing cycle

    This mean once you use up that 2.5 GBs you have to wait until your billing cycle resets to use the HOTSPOT with your smart TV, Roku, Apple TV, ChromeCast, etc
