How does the structure of the blood vessels entering and leaving the glomerulus help move glucose into the Bowman's capsule?

A high pressure is needed to move glucose out of the glomerulus into the capsule. Thus the afferent arteriole has a larger diameter than the efferent one so that the pressure of blood entering the glomerulus is high. This causes glucose and other solutes to be diffused into the capsule down the concentration gradient.
