is it normal to be scared of spiders the way I am?
I moved in a house like 3 years ago, every summer the house gets spiders in every corner, I'm serious! I am so scared, its spring and the spiders are waking up and they are all over my house right now. Here's what happens every year, once in a while (in the summer) there will be a spider on the ceiling in the bathroom, I will go days without taking a shower cuz if I do, the spider will walk across the ceiling and I just get freaked out, so I won't take a shower until the certain spider is dead. Another time, (last year) i was sleeping and my brother was up throwing up at about 3 in the morning, i look behind me to see a spider, (maybe the size of a dime) on my wall right by my bed looking down at my pillow like it was watching me sleep. Also there was a hole in my wall like in the frame of my window, and a bunch of spiders and fly's were coming out of it, so that's how I know I have spiders in my walls. Another time, I slept in and my mom was waking me up and right when I woke up, she started saying "dont move!" I'm so glad I didnt sit up cuz i went forward laying down but i went up, a spider would of went right in my face! A daddy long leg was hanging on its web right on top of my bed. Just thinking of sitting up and it hitting my face is making shake. Another time, it was the same kind of spider that was on my wall by bed, I remember I saw it and I ran and it started following me to my room. So is my fear normal and by the way, is my house infested with spiders?

This is a fairly common fear, but considered irrational by psychologist. The reason here, is that no one need to be afraid of spiders. It is a bit like brainwashing yourself into fearing spiders, and likely because you are just not familiar with them or know much about them. That little cellar spider above your head is not going to fall or even leave her web unless driven out. That spider on the wall doesn't care about you and doesn't even know you exist until you try to smack it, and it may have eaten a big mosquito with intent on biting you while you were asleep.
It does sound like you have plenty of spiders about, but you also have plenty of pest insects they are feeding on. Maybe if you just observe spiders and get to know them, they won't scare you so much.
I have had spiders about my whole life and not one was any nuisance save for a messy web.
If you let this fear get worse, you may need counseling and therapy to overcome it.

your fear is not normal, but it's certainly very common and nothing to be ashamed of
