Most religions are told by there Holy Books to encourage one another in doing good works when was the last time I or you did that ?

I don't know about anyone else but I do good works daily. Good works are not limited to helping others it could mean walking in faith or conduct becoming of a Christian, being prayerful, being kind to someone, etc.

The problem is these holy books contain more than enough verses justifying evil too. It depends what parts you choose to follow

Yes, I volunteer to work with kids every week. If that wasn't enough (spending time with other people's kids), I go to my local church to volunteer (I am an atheist).

So no eternal reward for me. Just trying to be decent and helpful.

Islam tells Muslims and non-Muslims that we should smile to each other and be peaceful to one another, even if you hate that person and that person asks for peace. We must give them what they wanted, I know a girl that I dislike. I hated her because she almost made me expelled but I didn't insulted her because it seems like she didn't meant to get me in trouble. So I had forgive and forget about what she had done to me. ( I somewhat remembered but I am trying to forget.
