My boyfriend and I are really different?

I'm really into hiking and travel li g and walking around and exploring and he's really into getting high and watching TV and eating junk food. We haven't been together too long, jus over a month, and it was fun at first but I'm getting sick of every time I hang out with him he's high or going to get high. And he hates walking around and hiking and I don't know what to do. We share common ground on movies and that's it so far. And I don't want to end it with him because I still really like him, but it's getting old.

Well you may have to accept that you are beyond the getting high/sitting around phase in your life. Maybe it is time to leave all of that behind, and find someone who likes things that you like. Maybe it is time for the its not you, it is me speech, because it is about you. You need something else, something more, someone with a future. This guy is not it, and by keeping this relationship, he believes that you fit into his world, hence no reason for change. You already see this guy for who he is, and you should not be a part of that world.

You will find that over time the differences between the two of you will eventually cause you to drift apart.
