What is the most visited attraction in Germany?

My next holiday destination is going to be Germany. Before I make a plunge into the country I want to gather some useful information from authentic sources – that’s you. So, can anyone tell me the most visited landmark in Germany. Well, I’m not just going to see only one attraction, but I don’t want to miss it anyway.

  • Germany has a number of different popular tourist cities, so there's no obvious single choice equivalent to Paris in France or London in England.

Talking about most visit per year, it might be something like the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin. According to Wikipedia it's the Cologne Cathedral, not quite sure how these things are quantified though for landmarks with no admission price.

I don’t know whether you have heard of the Cologne Cathedral. It is the Roman Catholic Cathedral that draws over 20,000 people every day. Its astounding architecture wows everyone. Whether it is about the delicately designed entrance or the centre, the dome will surely take your breath away with its beauty.

I have no idea what is the most visited attraction--I'm sure you can google to find it--but I was really impressed by the Schloss Heidelberg, both times I've been to it.
