I mean the type of Friends, that you arrange to go to the Cinema with and then they change their plans and decide to go with someone else, at the last minute. I realize things often will change, however is it a good or bad thing, when you get your hopes up and then get let down time and time again. I have one Friend that always asks me If I want to go to the Cinema, then when I've said yes, the next time I see him. He's like "I am sorry we can't go to the Cinema. I am going to see the film, we was going to see, with another friend. He's done this at least 8 times to me in the last year. I am not even sure If I am in the wrong, because this isn't the first time, he's done it. I feel like saying to him, don't bother trying to ask me, if I want to go out with you, because the answers going to be no

Obviously it's not a good thing. It usually either means they're not very good friends or you're expecting way too much from them.

You have to decide. I'd prefer to have friends that are completely reliable, but there are a few people who are so valuable to me that I put up with them being flaky. I just set low expectations for them.

No, and after a while I get tired of feeling like a social worker or something. You can't fix them, they have to fix themselves.
