What guitars can be used with Rocksmith 2014?
Thinking about getting Rocksmith 2014 for my PS4. Would I be able to use my Fender Standard Stratocaster with it? Most people I see who play the game use an Epiphone so would my strat work just as well? Thanks,

Any guitar with a pickup. You could even use a acoustic-electric although some of the bends may be tough and the acoustic sound would make it hard to hear the game. I've played it using everything from a cheap guitar to a '54 Les Paul RI. Fun game. The only reason you see people in ads using an Epi Jr. is because that is the guitar that comes with the package deal. Epiphone is an official sponsor of that game.

Yes. You will need the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable which comes in the box.

Any electric guitar will work.
You could use a $10,000 custom guitar for it if you want.
