Anything I do for another is only as a result of the Holy Spirit in me.

We serve our neighbors in service to God -- We are to treat others, not as they treat us, but as Christ loves us (John 13:14). This is our service to God!

In (1 Peter 4:10-11) Peter makes it clear that we have received our gifts from God for two purposes: 'to serve others and to bring praise to God.'

Since Jesus commanded his followers to love their neighbor and help the poor, there should be no conflict whatsoever. Serving your neighbor IS serving God.

  • God, of course! serving God means to also serve our neighbours!

Serving 'god' is as useful as serving leprechauns or elves.

Not according to the atheist philosophy of evolution, which demands survival of the strong. Without God, it's every man for himself.
