im getting teeth pulled i,m so scared does it hurt?

I had a total of 12 teeth pulled over a course of a few months each time getting 4 teeth pulled. I wasn't that scared since I trusted my dentist. First they numb you with a purple goo on a cutip. This numbs you for the injection. Then after you are numb ( believe me the goo works and you won't feel the injection ) they inject you. The injection doesn't hurt but you do feel something pushing on your gums which is the liquid being forced into it. Next, they will wait like 5-10 min for the full effect to take place. When they pull you feel a little pressure but no pain. I even had 6 teeth with roots ( permanent teeth ) pulled and they didn't hurt at all. After that your entire mouth will be numb for about 4 hours. A little trick my dentist told me was to eat a lot of ice pops. Just ask him about the process and if it sounds like what mine was you'll be okay.

They will give you a numbing injection which doesn't hurt either if they inject you slowly, they will wait until you have gone numb, if you aren't sure they can test the area to make sure that you are. They then prepare the tooth and lift it out. No tugging or pulling, they will move from left to right a couple of times then that will be it. You may feel a bit of pressure, this does not hurt either.

Don't worry, wont hurt at all, they will make sure you're are numb. If you're getting them removed for braces, I would have to caution you on doing that. It can change your face dramatically and cause other health issues down the road. Had to throw that in there just in case. Extractions are rarely necessary anymore, that's an outdated method.

they'll give you a injection shot on the your gum to make the area numb. the shot hurts as much as it would if an ant bit you. after the area is numb you won't feel a thing when they pull out your teeth. or they might give you an anesthesia drug and you won't feel a thing in this case either :) don't worry. don't stress yourself. A trip to the dentist is always scary no matter what xx

I had 2 teeth pulled out last week and they just inject you, it's just like a pinch and it doesn't hurt too badly and when they're pulling them out all you can feel is them poking around in your mouth and it doesn't hurt but afterwards it does and bleeds for ages

Yes. Iv'e gotten my teeth pull when i was 10 and it was hurting so bad. But hay, in a few weeks, it will stop hurting. So, you will be ok.

It wont! I just got 2 teeth pulled and it didn't hurt because all they do is give you a shot in your gums and all you will feel is a little pinch and Boom! The shots done then it numbs your gums then they pull it out! :) So don't worry you wont feel ANYTHING :))))

Only the novocaine shots hurt. After that, it won't hurt at all. If it does, make sure to tell him because he will probably give you more novocaine.

Let me tell you, as a person who has an extreme fear of needles it went well for me. The only thing that hurts is the novocaine shots.After that, you won't feel a thing! :)
