Would you take your child to see 50 shades of Grey?

I'm asking after seeing several accounts of parents supposedly doing this with their teenage children.

I wouldn't even take myself to see that mess.

No, mostly just because it'd be awkward. If I had a teenager that wanted to see the movie though, it wouldn't bother me. I'd have raised them well enough to know the importance of consent and what it means, so it's not like an artistic depiction of a dysfunctional sexual relationship would ruin their fragile, naive psyches. (Not that I'm even sure the relationship is indeed that bad. Haven't seen the movie. Just heard that their relationship is kind of unhealthy and not fully consensual.)

No. I wouldn't put myself or my hypothetical kid in that kind of an awkward situation. I realize that with internet porn being a thing, they probably would have already seen everything in it in a much more graphic manner, but that doesn't mean they'd want to watch it with their mother.

Nope....never. I wouldn't go with an adult child....let them go on their own.

filled with sex, corruption in law enforcement and violence.

so....yeah. if my babies wanted to see it. and can handle the graphic content, then yes.

ive been watching r-rated movies since age 4.
