Getting over the fear of tumbling?

I have been trying to get my roundoff backhandspring backtuck by myself and I just can't make myself throw it. I have it really good and I know that but I just have the fear of doing it, and not having someone help me. Whenever i do it with a spot I do it good but when I don't I get scared and let out and almost face plant

Start from the beginning like you were learning the move from scratch and work through progressions building confidence at each stage before attempting the skills with a spot. Don't beat yourself up for having to go back a few steps or push yourself throw a skill if you feel too scared. That's counter-productive. Building up through progressions should help you regain your sense of control. If you find you are starting to feel wobbly take a break from working on the skill and do something else you feel confident with for a while. Then start back when you are feeling more confident and calmer.

    Hope I helped

Trust yourself. I don't think the fear is of tumbling but what will happen if you do it wrong. Try doing it on a trampoline. Then try to do it on the floor and land on a mat. I'm scared of trying front tucks and I'm working on them now by doing them on a mat and trampoline.
