What's Job Corps really like honestly?

I m an 18 year old Caucasian Muslim American

I have no money for college and with 2 weeks until I m done with high school; I need something for after high school

So I applied for Job Corps. I want to know what is it really like since everyone on the internet claims it s only for African Americans & Hispanics who are either in gangs or on their way to prison afterward.

Also, am I going to be a target since I m white and/or Muslim?

    I have no direct experience, but the job corps people in my city are a mix of white and black young adults working within the poorest parts of the community. I think you have no reason to be fearful for your safety because of who you are.

    It's also a great thing to have on your resume when you seek work, or on college applications if you go that direction.
