Jayco Trailer has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 2,800 pound and a gross axle weight rating (GAWR) of 2,500 pounds.?
My tires have a load rating of 1,610 pounds each. I am confused about how much i can load my camping trailer? Why have both rating? Can i load up my trailer 2,800 pounds while traveling? Please help and thanks for all answers ...

As the saying goes, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. I presume the tires you refer to are the ones on the trailer. 1610lbs x 2 = 3220lbs that your tires can support. The axle is 2500lbs; the most the axle can support. The trailer's gross rating is 2800lbs (probably the trailer framework's maximum load carrying capacity). 300lbs of that 2800lbs is the tongue weight on the trailer hitch. There's really not much wiggle room to put too much cargo in the trailer. You need to have the trailer weighed to determine how much below the 2500lbs the trailer is (that 2500 lbs is the weakest link in your chain). If the trailer weighs 2000lbs, you can put 500 lbs of food and supplies in the trailer.
