If you were about to die, could you give all your money to your kids and then max out a credit card and your kids wouldn't get any debt?

Give all your money to your kids, max out all your cards, give that stuff to your kids, die, then have no money in your will to pay off those expenses, would your kids not have to pay anything?

Disclaimer: This was just something that popped up in my head I'm not about to do this.

    I'd better check on your plan there chief.

    It might be possible for kids to inherit the debt of their parents.
