Is boxing business all about money?

I am under impression that boxing duels are set up to maximized to gained money, rather than sportmanship, and boxing promoters are conspirators whom not hesitate to play dirty to remove potential opposing boxers. Is this true?

    well it's like everything in life today we have placed a value on it money wise that is, years ago it was pride or honour or respect even more so was sport that was all honour no cheating today if you can get away with it do it and money has brought that element into it when you compare todays stars are they really worth that much more than their predecessors people like Babe Ruth would own half the world today do you see how ridiculous it is getting we are losing the plot it's impossible to sustain

    They are about money. Full stop. The better the person you fight and the higher ranked you are the higher the purse and or attendance fee

    all business is about the money. if a business doesn't make money it doesn't last very long
