What are these little red bumps on my scalp?
Over 5 years ago my doctor said they could be a few things, irritation of the scalp, caused by stress or the buzzer from a haircut or even because around that time I wore a hat in the summer and he assumed I was cooking my head in the heat.
Well, I no longer wear hats. I've been letting my hair grow for almost a year and I still have these bumps on my head. I occasionally get the urge to scratch them every night and I kind of scratch off little flakes. Nobody notices because I have a whole head of hair. The back of my head would probably look a little pink from all this. What am I experiencing?

Is your doctor a dermatologist? I strongly recommend seeing a dermatologist. They are more educated and experienced at diagnosing and treating skin pathology.
