Is there really any reason why the alphabet needs to be in order?

Personally I use my numbers out of order, 3 is my 7 and I use 12,387 as my number 2.

But then for those of is who do not need to cooperate with the human race, orderliness is pretty lame.

When I had Greek in college the teacher was unable to use a dictionary because he never learned the order of the Greek alphabet. Much suffering came out of the lapse, and I'll feeling between him and me.

Not really. Especially if you have seen this:

I'm afraid it absolutely HAS to be that way! It's so all the dictionaries are in the same order, otherwise the numbers would be on the wrong pages.

It's in that order to keep the universe from collapsing in on itself.
