oddity coin??
I have an unusual American dollar coin. It is not a presidential coin, or a Susan B. Anthony. It is not a bronze or gold color, but it looks to be silver. I think it is something else, because it is not that heavy. Anyone know what I need to do to verify this as an oddity??'
See below for pics,
Further down is a pic of the front and back of the coin. It is native American with the date of 2002 (D). The clarity of the coin features are too detailed for a recast for jewelry, but it seems to be a silver coin. One area seems to show tarnish. Here is a pic of the back. Other coins are there for comparison.
Please see for one pic, I cannot post more.

What is the date? Whose picture is on the coin, and is it about the size of a quarter or much bigger? Are you sure it's a US dollar? If it has a picture of a woman other than Susan B. Anthony, Sacajawea or Lady Liberty, it's probably Canadian.

This is a photo of the front of the coin, and I placed two other dollars and a quarter in the picture for comparison

I need to see front and back. The US has minted a whole slew of different commemorative dollars in silver since the 1980s. If you can't provide pictures, start by giving the date and a description of both sides.

it is a normal Sacajawea dollar that somebody has dipped or chemically altered. value is face value only. in other words, it's spending money.

Without a photo of front and back, it's impossible to figure it out.
