This question is for any one who has had their Federal student loan forgiven.?

How long did it take to get your money back from loan holders? This is for disability. Thanks.

Update:

Letter states: We have instructed your loan holder(s) to return any loan payments that were received after your disability date to the person who made the payments.

As I see it I get money back, just want to know when.

A forgiven loan does not mean that you get money back. It means that you do not have to pay anything in the future.

Money back? you never get money back. They send you a letter every year making sure you are still disabled.
