I'm against it. For the worst crimes, life without parole is better, for many reasons. I’m against capital punishment not because of sympathy for criminals but because it doesn’t reduce crime, prolongs the anguish of families of murder victims, costs a whole lot more than life in prison, and, worst of all, risks executions of innocent people.

In theory I have no problem with it, at least for murder cases. But I'm generally against it because of the issue of innocent people being wrongly convicted. It happens far too often for me to be comfortable with the death penalty. So basically, I support capital punishment, but only when there is 100% irrefutable proof it's the right person.

I'm very mixed about it. Lately there have been too many people on death row found not guilty because of the DNA evidence discovered after the trial.

I couldn't care less about laws or anything that has to do with them.

If I were convicted of a crime and my choice was that I could die, or I could spend my life in a cage, I would rather die.
