Geforce GTx 780 ti Randomly Overheats?

Update:

Normal temperatures are around 43c. I monitor it through GPU Meter gadget. The Usage is at 0% and when browsing the internet. It will go up to 80c+ all of a sudden with the usage at 92%. Then I restart so it does not crash.

    Make sure you have good airflow maybe replace the thermal paste on your GPU cooler
