Signs of God are self-evident truths. Anyone who denies self-evident, clear truth is definitely a liar, and an infidel who loves to burn in Hell. God will fulfill their desire to burn soon.

"it is only those who don't believe in the ayah of Allah who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars" meaning the people against the prophets didn't believe in Allah's word and fabricated falsehood...
and a person who claims to be Muslim won't fabricate falsehood because then he'd be going against the ayah of Allah.
