My employer photocopied one side of my credit card?

I'm new to dominos and my employer photocopied my passport and national insurance number but he also photo copied one side of my credit card (the side with the long number and expire date) is that normal? If not what should I do. My security number is at the back of the card so he doesn't have that

I've worked many jobs and I've never been asked for a credit card.

Your boss is probably just an a__hole who wants to get as much info as he/she can get even if for no reason.

When you have free time you should give your credit card issuer a phone call and see what they think about this. Retain the exact date on which your boss copied the credit card.

A credit card can be used for identification purposes, even if noone has ever in their life experienced it. I suspect the reason why is because you don't have a state id. This applies in the states. If you don't believe me:

I would also include the fact that you KNOW he photocopied it. Folks who are going to do something nefarious aren't going to photocopy and let you know about it.

That is certainly not normal. I can't really think of a reason of why he would do that. I would report that to a higher-up ASAP, and perhaps contact your bank.

Its too late now, but you should have refused to show your credit card, and reported this IDIOT to corporate as soon as he asked. By that I mean call from his office.

It sounds like he just wants to be able to verify that you are here legally and able to work here legally.
