Did I encounter ghosts?

Question

Ok, so one night I was walking from my room to the living room, which is right down the hallway. And it was about 11:30 at night, I usually stay up a lot, so I walk around at night a lot. I wasn't tired or anything, but as soon as I entered the living room a green glowing orb flew by my face. It was like the glow in the dark kind green. And after I saw it, I kept looking around to see if I actually saw it or if I just moved my head around too fast. And then I saw it again, and another one the same color. It really scared me, so I ran back to my room and started texting my friend what happened. She convinced me I could've just been tired or maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, I was still scared though so I forced myself to go to sleep. And then I saw it again about two weeks later, but only one this time. And that's when I knew I saw it for real. I told my parents about it, and then my mom claimed to see it a few weeks later, she described it exactly as what I saw. What is this? Are these things ghost? I'm too scared to go into the living room at night now.

Stan romanek, the famously controversial ufo contactee, reported seeing orbs of various color in his home. It's possible that you're experience is related to ghosts in the traditional sense, or that you witnessed something of extraterrestrial origin. This could be the beginning of what's called "high strangeness" which are a range of experiences that seem to cross the boundaries of various paranormal events.

Keep a lookout for other strange things. Keep a record of them by writing down what you see when you see it, noting the time and date, place and a detailed description of the event.

If it gets too weird for you, you'll have this log of events to show to paranormal researchers, should you decide to contact them for help.

You say the orb was green. That is the colour of anything luminous. I don't know where you are in the world, but if you are out in the sticks, you may have let in an odd glowing insect. Give the house a good spray  with fly killer. If it happens again, you could try getting people in with ghost hunting equipment, as it may be paranormal.

me and my brother both encountered something similar in my grandmothers old house .. there were at least two distinct 'colors' there, and hearing 'voices' sometimes calling your name and very clear was common to .. all i can tell you is the location of the house was built over an old sealed off cave system likely used by Indians as a burial site, and also the location was the site of a large civil war battle and a graveyard containing many of the soldiers was very near by .. so, we concluded it had something to do with all of that .. it scared the bejeebus out of us as kids though ...

Probably a natural phenomena---unexplained, but still natural  The green color suggests something is ionizing the air--(Ionized air (Nitrogen) glows green).  As two people saw it, and other Scientific aspects match,, the phenomena was likely real-----Only unexplained for now----What was the weather like?

Orbs are one of the ways spirit creatures manifest themselves to us. So they're beings from the spirit realm. They don't have anything to do with the dead though.
