I'm writing a book(about wolves) and I need help with names any name will do!?

Elemental names recommend and I also don't want human names

Ex for not what to put: Mark or Suzy I don't like naming characters human names but if its elemental themed that's fine

    Really *envision* the wolf. Get familiar with some pictures/photos. If there's any color-patch involved on one of them (I know very little about wolf coloration), then think of something like 'flame' or 'patch' for a name (for some individual color band on one of them, maybe.) Be careful about what the words connotatively suggest, though: a horse can be (and sometimes is) called 'Paint'. But that suggests the human point of view -- 'paint' is not in nature, only in man's world... Good luck.
