I suck at driving?
Hey guys, so I'm seventeen and learning how to drive a manual. I couldn't grab hold of the clutch control and my tutor would go crazy on me. He would start to get angry and impatient. See the reason why I stick with this tutor is because he gives me free lessons even tho it's way over for how much I paid for but here I am, feeling so scared to go for the test because I know I'll fail. And it costs a about 300 for a retake. It's expensive, and it's been bothering me and stressing me out. Anyone care to help? Thanks

You have to practise developing the fine muscular control of depressing the clutch, then change gear, then release the clutch again.
Spend hours doing it, like a teenager learning how to play the guitar.
You can develop that skill while stationary, so it becomes part of your muscle memory, and becomes semi-automatic, which means you won't have to devote so much attention to it, and can focus instead on your rear view mirrors, scanning the road ahead, using indicators, and observing the road rules.
Practise. Practise. Practise. There is no substitute. Use the back roads, off peak hours, in good conditions in the daytime, at least at first, when it comes to driving practice, and parking, and emergency stops.
Try this exercise: in first gear, on level ground, without touching the accelerator, very slowly release the clutch until it is fully released, and you are crawling along. It's excellent for developing that fine control.
