NRHH: Some randomass questions?

I used to make these fairly often way back, but I haven't done one since returning. It's just a bunch of scattered interest questions where you answer whatever applies to you in as much detail as you see fit.

1. Have you ever had to hurt a friend (physically or emotionally, whichever fits)? If so, why? A good example of this would be Jay-Z's song "You Must Love Me" where he shoots his brother to stop him from selling their mother's jewelry for drug money.

2. Do you collect anything (e.g. baseball cards, stamps, women in your basement)?

3. Are/Were you in any clubs? Gangs and white supremacy movements don't count.

4. What is one physical object that you've lost that took you a long time to get over? By "physical object", I mean that you can't use people (as in losing a parent to cancer or losing a girlfriend to another man) or intangible things (like your self-esteem or your virginity) to answer.

5. Do you litter?

6. What was the last bad movie you went to see in theaters?

7. Have you ever held a gun? Fired it? If so, at what?

8. What kind of pants do you wear most often (e.g. jeans, shorts, sweatpants)?

9. What was the last book you read? Your opinions on it?

10. If you're not too busy, do you wanna answer the last "Some randomass questions" I posted from over a year ago? It only got one answer :(

    1. I once made a girl cry by being a pretentious dick. We both play the same sport and I was coaching her and I was just being really condescending and she lost and so obviously she was feeling a little raw so she just started crying. I felt so awful I had a hard time talking to her for almost a whole year (I was 14).

    2. Uhh...not really. I don't usually form strong attachments to objects.

    3. Well I'm in this facebook group that goes something along the lines of "when you go slightly out of your way to step on a crunchy looking leaf".

    4. Well this one time I left the door to my apartment unlocked and encountered some eastern european squatters on returning who cut off my hand in the ensuing scuffle, and I haven't really gotten used to being without it yet. Otherwise I lost one of my grandfather's watches in middle school that was really nice. Probably worth a couple thou.

    5. Hell nah.

    6. I don't know. Probably that godawful Percy Jackson Lightning Thief movie. I don't see movies often but I distinctly remember it being truly awful.

    7. Yep, from Texas homie, fired all kinds of guns, from an automatic AK-47 to a 8 round clip combat shotgun to a .22 revolver to a .45 magnum, and much more.

    8. Skinny jeans usually. Sometimes normal jeans. Sometimes joggers, or some other ecclectic pants. Black, burgundy, grey, generally darker colors.

    9. Probably Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. It's excellent, and has as much to say about social topics as you can possibly read into it. Beautiful prose and imagery at times, but it can be hard to follow.

    10. Sure.

I mainly came here to ask you some book recs since I know you read and I had no other way to ask you... For example, I was interested in some books such as 1984 by George Orwell, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Mrs. Dolloway by James Joyce (I think), and some others... Are they any good? And what others do you suggest me?

PS: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn was amazing. Thanks for the rec.

I could answer these questions, but I'm not an interesting person at all...
