I am looking for a glass dome lid to fit a 12 inch krofton skillet. can anyone tell me how to find one /?

I would check the manufacturer and maybe ebay. and while it may be a long shot...keep your eyes peeled at Goodwill type stores where people get rid of oddball items all the time.

You might be able to substitute the lid from a crockpot...which might widen your search a little bit.

and lastly...they do sell lids and 12 inch is a standard size. You can order them here at Amazon, and you might be able to try it on for perfect fit at a Walmart or other in person retailer.

In case you can not find the actual replacement lid

There are "Universal" lids that have ridges that will fit to may different pans.

There are also silicone lids that will cover a wide variety of pans.

Both should be oven safe to at least 350 degrees possibly higher.

Check out second hand stores and thrift stores too.

At some kitchen supply stores you can get a metal lid that is designed to fit on several different sized kettles.

look at craigs list, ebay, yard sales, garage sales, estate auctions, etc. Those are very hard to find.
