Why do old BMW's drive so much better than new ones?
I hate how the new ones drive and I think I might go to Audi next. What do you think?

Older BMWs were built to be a performance alternative to Mercedes; as such they are very fun and engaging to drive. Unfortunately BMW is trying to move more into the all-encompassing luxury segment than the performance segment.
I went from an E46 to an E60, decided it was crap, and went back to an E46 which I still enjoy despite it being old and slow by comparison to newer models. I don't know what to buy after mine wears out; I can't stand the interiors or some of the cheesy styling cues on newer BMWs.

BMW cars were known for their performance. They were very nimble and fun to drive. Newer Bimmers are not the case. BMW is trying to move more into the luxury market to compete with other brands such as Mercedes. Audi cars aren't that fun to drive. However, they are very well built.

BMW is Europe car. But now it made in India with Indian materials. That's why new BMW price goes down and works like TATA.

Both of them are horrible unreliable. I can afford one, and I love cars that are fun to drive. But I've only owned Hondas, Toyotas, Infinitis and Nissans. I can't bring myself to get something as unreliable as a BMW, Audi or Mercedes.

perhaps they are focusing more on the luxury side of things than the performance. if you look at the interior of the newer bmws vs the older ones, you'll know what im talking about. especially the 3 series.
