How bad is war.?

I have family that has been in the war, and they tell me it's terrible, I'm sure the way people die and their age will affect you. But what's the worst part of war that you have to experience? Is it worse than my mother in law? Cause that's pretty bad

    War is quite bad. When you lose a war friend, it's like losing someone really important to you.
