ISIS members wanting to come home to Australia?

There have been several "news" articles regarding former members of ISIS wanting to come back to Australia

The government has said if they do they'll be jailed

I personally don't think that they should be allowed to re-entre this country ever again

What do you all think

These people knew exactly what they were getting into when they went over to fight for ISIS, there is enough publicity and graphic media for them to know that ISIS commits mass murder , there is no disullionment.ISIS have a plan and have declared they will infiltrate the West and take over by hook or by crook, to let them back in is letting them realise their plan.So my answer is no, they have committed Treason, and not so long ago the penalty was the firing squad.

We arrested ten at Trudeau Airport, 4 belonged to the same college, where previously 2 were detained. The ten had their passports revoked and are under further investigation.

In your case the ISIS members have performed in acts of terrorism, and possibly against your own armed forces. Australia can not deny the right of citizens to return, but The Federal government can throw the full force of the law at them.

Australia needs to take responsibility for its people, regardless who they are. Do whatever is lawfully allowed with them once they return.

It is probably a moot point anyway as ISIS apparently does not take rejection very well.

Poor guys. Seems to me all the little young girls are married off over there and they are all left out. No wonder they all wants to come home.

But it's better that they be in jail rather than fighting for ISIS. I think the video below might amuse you, because apparently a lot of people are regretting joining ISIS.

When you become an enemy combatant against your own Country I believe you are an ex patriot and treasonous.

If they committed a treacherous act they should be tried for that. If they have dual citizenship then the aussie one may be revoked, however if they are australian citizens only then it is conventionally difficult to leave a person stateless.
