Did you ever lose everything?

Update:

Come around the hard way only to find what you knew all along -- things don't matter in the grand scheme of things, so to speak (not ironically.)

Update 2:

I suppose the fault is mine for my choice of phrase. I intended this to be about material things; however, I cannot deny subtly (or not so subtly) speaking to the sense of this world being maya... . Still, no matter what losses I endure, I find life just becomes all the more precious in spite of it all.

Update 3:

SusieQ, Music <3 and ?---, IDK who gets BA. It's between the three of you. I can appreciate where you're all coming from. However it goes, thank you for your responses.

Update 4:

Where there's life, there's hope. Amazing how that works -- I mean, we all hope -- for most I suspect even while enduring horrible misfortune and calamnity, and right up to the end. I'd dare say the opposite of that statement is its converse. Where there's no hope, there's no life (or not much of one.)

OBTW, this Yahoo page wouldn't let me select 5 stars, so I'm glad I could at least register 4.

IDK if it's a Yahoo glitch or a prob with my browser. [8^{{ ~ ?

Oh yeah. My job, my dog, my sanity, my freedom, my home and several family members and friends. But I'm rebuilding my life each day and recovering from alcoholism. Anyone can start over at any time in their life.
