Losing everything was tuff, but losing my mother was the hardest loss I expect I'll ever have to endure. God rest her soul, her absence left a hole in the world which may never be filled.

Life's tough sometimes isn't it? I still think of my ol' mum every day and she passed away about 15 years ago.
We all have to accept that people we love will one day die and to try to recognise what they did actually give to us; but to answer your question, it must be so, so hard for a child to lose their mother though.
I lost my father when I was 5 so I never knew him really.
