Can i use stihl 2 cycle oil for my outboard engine?

Have 2 cycle stihl oil can i mix that with gas for my 2 stroke 1990 15hp tohatsu outboard engine?

    Not advisable. Oil designed for use in air cooled 2 stroke engines has a much higher ash content than TCW3 rated oil designed for use in water cooled outboards. This will lead to carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and ring grooves in the pistons, which will eventually cause loss of compression. Use TCW3 rated oil only.

    Yes. It all does the same job. Fully synthetic two stroke is the best to use as it doesn't foul the plug and protects the engine better than standard oil.
