To Marines fresh out of boot camp, do they still spread the "stress card" rumor?

Yes, that rumor is still going. I was a DI in San Diego from 2008-2011 and I can promise you that the stress card is an urban legend; however, when new boots check into a unit, the "salty" Lance Coolies always ask them about stress cards.
We do; however, issue out a shitload of pushups and mountain climbers. That is true, my friend.

W( T # F) is a stress card? I had a recruit in boot platoon crack and jump from our 3rd floor barracks stairwell landing down to the hard deck...we all heard the ambulance come and go but the DI's never said a word about it, we just went on with our training day like nothing had happened...just one more empty rack....btw we never did hear if he lived or died.

We didn't have no stress cards 3 years ago and I doubt anything has changed. Also why do you need a stress card? Don't be a turd and you won't be in the sand pit or quarter deck that often.
