Alternate ways to run a Minecraft Server?

I am trying to run my Minecraft Spigot server from my house without using .bat files. Reason is because I have a registry issue on my computer. Right now, I need an alternate way to run my server. Does anyone know any other ways than running a .bat file?

A .bat file is just a list of commands for your computer to run. (.bat is short of batch.) You don't have to use a .bat file, you can type the commands manually yourself into a command window. However the commands are quite long, which is why it's just easier to stick them into a .bat file and run them that way.

So if your computer is having problems, it's not because of the .bat file. It's because your computer is having problems with Minecraft itself. Resolve those issues first.

Just so you know actually running a public server for minecraft is pretty hard on CPU and there's no need to, there is a surplus of empty servers. If you just want to play privately with friends I recommend Hamachi.

I would use Hamachi or Pocketmine
