When do Australian universities start to lessons? (August or February?)?
Usually its august in the world but since in Australia, the climate is different I wondered about the starting season because I want to apply for master degree in future

The main break in the academic year in the northern hemisphere is for the summer holidays so the new year begins in August. In the southern hemisphere the seasons are reversed so summer is December,January and February. The academic year begins at the end of summer just as it does in the northern hemisphere but this means it begins in February.

It's not August in the world....it's August in the northern hemisphere. Countries in the Southern Hemisphere it's February.
