Open a blank browser window and in the Address bar type the Router.s I.P address and hit " Enter " (normally the I.P is 192.168.1.1) This could be different for your Router.

This will take you to a page that will have two boxes in the middle of the page.

One will be for the the 'User Name' and the other will be the 'Password'.

    Sign in to the Router.

Once you are in there, you can do the following :

    Rename your Router.

Change the, " Admin" name and the " Admin Password ".

Go to wireless security under Security Tab.

Select the kind of Wireless Security you prefer ( WEP, WPA etc) set a huge pass-code. (Do save it).

    Enable / Disable Access logs.

Download and update the router Firmware if need be.

    Check the Link below.
