Did I just have a panic attack?
Hello guys, so all day i've been feeling a bit down for a few reasons, and about 10 minutes ago, i was in bed on my laptop, and I just started crying, I couldnt breathe properly, And all i could feel was fright and unhappiness, i stood up and felt very light headed and then felt numb all over, I calmed myself down by drinking water and having a paper fan and after about 5 mins, i was fine, was this a panic attack?

Yup, just a panic attack. They can feel like the scariest things in the world. I've been convinced I was dying before when I had one. If it happens again, take a 3 second breath in through your nose, and exhale for 6 seconds. Then make sure to loosen all of your muscles. Your brain cannot panic if you do this.

It is most likely after-effects of the panic attack. However, if in doubt, go to the hospital where they can find out for sure. It's not worth the risk.

Yes. I've had one where I thought I was gonna die and I threw up later. Just sit down and take deep breaths and think rationally when it happens.

Yes it was. They can be scary but its generally OK if you or someone else knows how to calm you down enough to get you to breathe properly.
