Does anyone hear know how to shred....Tips or Examples(tabs)

Well first off, how long have you been playing. You have to walk before you run, so to speak. Shredding is simply playing fast. I doubt you will find any "shredder" out there that hasn't spent thousands of hours practicing scales. Of course you can use a lot of hammer-on, pull off, tapping, etc. to make you sound faster, but the real shredders can pick single notes very fast, and that comes from countless hours of practicing scales.

Haven't "shredded" for a long time, but look on Youtube, learn scales, and ALWAYS USE A METRONOME WHEN PRACTICING.

I can play but I don't really shred ........I have a friend in my band that does that better then rest
