Open the Device Manager by going to the Control Panel. See if there is any indication of a problem with the CD drive.

Is your computer a laptop or desktop? If you have a desktop, you can buy a new CD drive for less than $20 and replace the old one. http://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.a...

Replacing it is easier than you think. Look for a YouTube video on the subject.

If you have a laptop, you can get a USB CD drive for less than $50.

EDIT: There is a small hole by the CD drive. Straighten a paper clip and push it into the hole. This will force the drive to open.

Step 1) Spray paint it orange

Step 2) Squirt 120g of Semen into the drive

Step 3) Spit 13 times onto the drive

    Step 4) Shut the drive

    Problem solved!!!!
